Zumsoytan Films the Isan Songbook as a Party Band, Then Plays Museum Siam

Most of the channel looks nothing like a festival stage. Opened on 7 January 2024, it describes ซุมซอยตัน as a group of friends who make fun in several forms across several channels; this one carries the music, with the atmosphere of a party band playing among friends. The titles say Live Session, Cover Live session, Cover Acoustics, and the arrangements lean hard on sam cha, the quick dance beat of Thai country music.

A songbook, filmed

The repertoire leans on the northeast. A mor lam medley posted in November 2025 strings together ปากโกรธใจคิดถึง, ได้เพียงคิดถึง and กล่อมนางนอน; a medley titled after Siriporn followed at the end of that month, and a medley of Thai Baan songs in May 2026. It detours, too: a sam cha medley of songs for life, and a session of ละหมาดอารมณ์ that credits its original to มาลีฮวนน่า. The newest upload, posted on 4 October, is a sam cha version of ขวัญใจพี่หลวง with the line Original : หลวงไก่.

The views gather at the top. A sam cha cover of บ่อิน, filmed as a live session and posted on 13 June 2025, has passed five million views. The November mor lam medley, a sam cha medley of จื่อบ่ and กุหลาบ from late June 2025 and an acoustic cover of อดีตรักมักสาวครู from May 2025 trail it by a distance, and most uploads draw far less than any of them.

Most sessions run three or four minutes; the medleys run longer, and a compilation from April 2026 strings sam cha numbers together for an hour. By this month the channel held 611 uploads, posted in a little under three years.

Songs of its own

Not everything is a cover. Apple Music lists three singles under the name: โสดแล้วโว้ย and a demo of เสี่ยวดีกรี, both from 2023, and ให้เจ้าบล็อกสา from this year. A dance version of เสี่ยวดีกรี on the channel, posted in April 2024, credits the words and melody to ซุมซอยตัน and the dance arrangement to Best AkinTown. The covers bring the reach; the originals are the claim to be a band rather than a channel.

The credits on that dance version read like a small studio at work. Best AkinTown arranged and recorded it, ชโลธร ดวงอาจนา recorded the bass, ภานุวัฒน์ สิงห์สนั่น mixed it, and ผาฮอม โปรดักชั่น filmed and edited it. A party band among friends, on the evidence of its own uploads, still books a mix engineer.

Our Thai list has the group at number #9 / 30 this week, with a MiSFY Score of 76.0 among the 111 artists we score in Thailand, a long way up from a week earlier. Mari Marine, BLVCKHEART, Helen Troy and Poh Chaichon Wongkham are among the names above it. Across Thailand we tracked 332 events in the past four weeks, and Zumsoytan is in none of them.

What we are not telling you

We are not telling you where the group plays, beyond Museum Siam. Our file holds no documented dates for Zumsoytan, nothing we read named another venue or a tour, and the concert film does not say which of the festival's three evenings it records.

We are not telling you who is in it. The channel speaks for a group of friends and publishes no line-up, and the credits name the singer only as ซุมซอยตัน. Our genre field files the group under other, which undersells a channel built on mor lam and sam cha; that is our tagging, not the music.

Nor are we telling you what the group earns from any of this. The channel carries a contact line for bookings, and that is all it says about the business.
